Online Music Battle for IT Companies
A fascinating musical competition where IT teams compete by guessing songs performed live. The tournament blends creativity, team spirit, and fun — turning an ordinary workday into an extraordinary shared experience.
The winning company earns the title of IT Music Cup 2025 Champion and gets an exclusive live SamShazam Show for their summer corporate event!
The tournament is open to IT companies of any size! Besides competing with other companies, you can submit multiple teams and arrange a fun internal battle between your own departments.
IT Music CUP is held live with a private YouTube stream. You can play from home or gather your teammates in the office for extra fun! Even if you're not on a team, you can still join the excitement.
A live band will perform musical riddles, and your mission is to guess the songs and the artists. Shazam won’t help you – each track is played in our own arrangement. But we’re sure that you’ll nail it!
After each round captains submit their answers via the chat-bot. Right after that the host reveals the correct tracks. The band performs the songs live with vocalists and you’ll sing along with us!

The musical showdown consists of 5 exciting rounds, each offering unique themes and game mechanics. Get ready to guess legendary movie soundtracks, iconic hits, and unforgettable music videos. The entire tournament is designed to last approximately two hours — packed with fun, competition, and team spirit!
5 SONGS
Every round includes 5 tracks. It can be iconic rock anthems, disco hits or one-hit wonders — we mix it all to make sure every music lover finds their moment. As we’re based in Europe, the tournament is hosted in English and most of the songs will be English-language tracks too.

The company whose team scores the most correct answers will be crowned the Champion of the IT Music CUP and will win the grand prize — a live SamShazam performance at their summer corporate event or an online SamShazam show (your choice). Full details can be found in our official guidelines
WHAT IS SAMSHAZAM MUSIC SHOW
SamShazam is a live music game show featuring a live band and a charismatic host. It’s the original format — created and passionately developed by us for almost 7 years. The game blends elements of a quiz and team-building, bringing together people with different backgrounds and interests through the power of music. On top of that, companies choose SamShazam for their best corporate events.
Participation fees
At IT Music CUP, each company can register up to 3 teams. A team can include up to 10 players — this is the perfect number to keep everyone engaged and involved.
